Joseph Schneider, Israel Center for Inventors

Joseph Schneider is the founder and CEO of  the "Israel Center for Inventors by the Schneider Method".  The center was established by him with the aim in mind of serving as a "welcoming home" for the Israeli inventor. About half a year ago, he set up the trade and marketing company "From Shelf to Shelf", the goal of which is to market solely Israeli ("blue and white") products of Israeli entrepreneurs and inventors.

He also writes professional literature for the inventor (the only one of its kind in this field); until now he has written two such books:  "From a Dream to a Million" and "Dancing with Investors" which are distributed by the chain "Tzomet Sfarim". His third book, "Inventors are Forever Children" is in the process of being written.  Over the last year he founded a school for inventors in cooperation with "Si'im" ("World Records") – the Interdisciplinary Center for Sports of the University of Tel Aviv. The school has gained great acclaim and as a result it was decided to expand its array of courses for inventors.

About two months ago he initiated the first conference in Israel for inventors.

Over the last year he set up "The Israeli Community of Inventors".

He is fostering and promoting the "Ma'ayanei Heyeshua" Hospital with the trademark "Shimaleh" which he invented in the year 2000.

In recent years he won the title "Rabbi of the Inventors" from the business and social circle in which he is active.

He was the first who succeeded in raising a venture capital fund for investing in inventors. This he accomplished after having - over the last few years - preached his vision before business people which maintains that the time is ripe for venture capital funds to discover the potential of the Israeli inventor, much like the discovery of the hi-tech potential.

Over the last year he has appeared in the media in order to promote the message of both his method and center, out of his approach which maintains that there is a difference between success and publicity.

Plans for the future: To enlist President Shimon Peres whom he heard lecturing at a conference stating that in the future the economic might of the country will be influenced by the number of its inventors. Through President Peres, ministers and Knesset members he intends to establish a political-economic lobby that shall grant the Israeli inventor a number of advantages and benefits by way of governmental funds.

Holidays: He holidays in China where he has a production plant. He believes that the Chinese have a high capacity for learning medicine and he himself undergoes Chinese acupuncture on a regular basis.
